Information you provide
We use your name, email, shipping address, optional phone number, purchased items and personalization instructions to manage your account, process orders, arrange delivery and respond to support requests. Order records include payment confirmation, amounts and shipment information. Our website does not store your full payment-card number.
If you create an account with a password, we store a password hash, not the password itself. A saved account address is optional. Changing it does not change an order already placed.
Signing in with Google
When available, Google sign-in gives AoW your Google account identifier, name, email address, email-verification status and profile image. We use these to create or authenticate your AoW account and associate purchases with your verified email. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, Drive files or calendar.
You can remove AoW’s Google access in your Google Account settings. That does not automatically delete your AoW account or order records; contact us to request account deletion.
Order and account messages
We use your email for order confirmations, shipment updates, account verification, password resets and customer service. Creating an account or placing an order does not enroll you in marketing emails.
Service providers
We share the information needed to complete your purchase and operate the website with our hosting, account sign-in, payment, email, production and delivery service providers. For example, production and delivery partners receive the order and shipping details needed to make and send your items. AoW handles customer support at connect@thisisaow.com.
AoW does not sell your account information or use Google account information for advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect customers and the security of our services.
Cookies and security records
We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in. Your browser stores your shopping bag so it can remain available between visits. Account security records may include IP addresses, browser information and sign-in timestamps to protect accounts and limit abuse. Signing out ends the current account session; clearing your browser storage removes the locally saved bag.
Retention and your choices
We retain account information while your account is active and order records as needed for fulfillment, customer support, accounting, legal obligations and disputes. You can update your profile and remove your saved shipping address in your account.
To request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal information, email connect@thisisaow.com. We may verify your identity before acting. Some transaction records may need to be retained after an account is closed.
